Job Overview:

We’re seeking a driven and hands-on Cold Calling Supervisor to lead our outbound calling efforts while actively participating in daily outreach. This hybrid role blends team leadership with direct execution — perfect for someone who thrives on results, leads by example, and understands the grind of sales from the front lines.

The ideal candidate has experience in managing cold calling or appointment setting teams and isn’t afraid to stay on the phones themselves to generate leads, refine scripts, and set the standard for performance.


Key Responsibilities:

Cold Calling & Lead Generation (Hands-On)

  • Actively make cold calls to prospects daily as part of personal KPIs.
     
  • Set qualified appointments directly to support team goals and maintain real-world understanding of lead quality and objections.
     
  • Test and refine scripts through live calls before rolling updates out to the team.
     
  • Serve as the performance benchmark for all appointment setters.
     

Team Management & Supervision

  • Lead and oversee a team of cold callers (in-house or outsourced).
     
  • Monitor call performance, appointment set rates, and individual KPIs.
     
  • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and accountability on a regular basis.
     
  • Host daily huddles to reinforce goals and share best practices.
     

Training & Development

  • Develop and update call scripts, rebuttal sheets, and training materials.
     
  • Onboard new cold callers and ensure ramp-up success through shadowing and roleplay.
     
  • Listen to recorded calls and conduct live audits to provide actionable coaching.
     

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Track daily and weekly metrics: call volume, contact rate, appointment rate, show rate.
     
  • Maintain detailed records in the CRM (e.g., GoHighLevel) to ensure data hygiene.
     
  • Analyze trends and report team performance to leadership with insights for improvement.
     

Process Optimization

  • Identify areas to improve call flows, automations, and lead follow-up cadence.
     
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales to adjust targeting or audience segmentation.
     
  • Ensure alignment between appointment setters and closing reps.
     

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Ensure all outreach complies with regulations (DNC lists, TCPA, etc.).
     
  • Maintain professionalism and brand integrity in every call.
     


 

Requirements:

  • 2–4 years of outbound cold calling experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
     
  • Proven success in appointment setting or SDR roles (ideally in lead gen, home services, or B2C/B2SMB).
     
  • Strong communicator and motivator, capable of leading a team by example.
     
  • Experience with CRM systems (especially GoHighLevel or similar platforms).
     
  • High personal accountability and willingness to get on the phones every day.
